Explanation: When I rate an image that is
below 3, I will offer an explanation.
Lighting: The flash is too bright and is too harsh on a subject so close to the camera. It is hard to get detail out of black fur, but is also too reflective for flash so close. The eye colour is blown out due to it being more reflective than anything else, as well some areas on the tongue.
Focus: The image is in focus.
Creativity: Seems more like a snapshot of a funny moment than something meant for a challenge.
Aesthetics: All of the above results in an overall uninteresting photo. It is a funny picture, and got a point for aesthetics because it was a nice "catch" so to speak, of the moment. |

| That's kind of disturbing, but works well for the challenge. I don't care for the background though, it's very distracting, and the lighting is a littl harse. It is a good capture though, you've caught a very interesting moment. |

| Nice (especially the cat's tooth peeping out) - shame about the red (shampoo?) bottle - I'd have scored it higher otherwise. |
