Brazilian Easy Riderby pikytoComment: especially like his shadow, and the shadow of the palm tree, in the street behind them. can't see their eyes as much as i'd like but you know what, if you got any closer maybe we wouldn't be able to make any sense of the bike. nice job waiting for the break in traffic. ten. |

Roadside Remembranceby myqylComment: too bad the jeep's nose is cut off, nice long shadows though, you picked the right time of day. |

As the clouds of war gather once more: We WILL remember themby Delta_6Comment: could you maybe have crept up to the fencing and taken the picture without its bars blocking the words? so that the rectangle started with the L in LET and ended with the G in OFFERING, you know? heck i bet you paced it out and lined it up just so, should trust your judgement, could no more have uprooted the bars than you could've moved the clouds away for a sunnier landscape. then again overcast might be where it's at for this contemplative picture. seven. |

Blazing Texas Sunsetsby jab119Comment: see this is another sunset shot which is super but which you wouldn't see in a newspaper. which is of course a stinging criticism of newspapers i know, but you know what i'm saying. |

Story of a churchby joshuazhangComment: great long shadows. appropriate black and white. like that the focus is good enough for the stones in front, the crosshatching in the window, the lines between the bricks. wonder where you pointed the camera to get it to do that automatically, or if you have a manual camera you did a real nice job. eight, even though it's not really action-adventure like some of the best in this challenge are. |

Colorado Drought 2002by vtruanComment: the only tough part is that it's hard to get a feel for how many square feet of ground we're looking at here. this'd be a great place for a macro shot i bet, be sure and get some. |
