	Christmas in Cape Town,South Africa. by anz Comment: Can't see what it has to do with Christmas (except for the hot weather bit) but it's a great shot!

	Old Blue Eye by Peltz Comment: Would have been better if the eye were central in the frame rather than being cropped off at the left. What about if you dropped the red levels in Photoshop to remove the colour from the skin just to be left with the blue colour in the eye itself.

	Bottle by ganders Comment: I think I would have liked to have seen this portrait rather than landscape with more of the bottle in the shot. Still a great shot though with a nice halo effect!

	Cracked by jgillard Comment: Light is uneven across shot. Subject isn't big enough in frame. Background has too much texture. Nice clarity, colour and definition.

	Rebuilding the WTC: One Year Later by Yellowpeep Comment: Nice shot, given recent events I could certainly see this on the front page. The person in the photo is a nice touch, it wouldn't have been the same without them there.

	Investigating a Fire by jdincolsprings Comment: I like the viewpoint which you chose here but it might have been better to exclude the truck's stop light as it seems to glare a little. The platform at the top of the ladder is slightly out of focus but it's still an excellent shot.

	New York 2012 Olympic Games by tomzinho Comment: I'm sure this breaks more rules of photography than it sticks to, but I like it. Strong vivid colours and a nice use of motion blur. It's a shame that the top of the building isn't a little more in focus.

	time by ritaard Comment: I'm not quite sure how this fits in the challenge. The clock is also far too small in the centre of the frame, it should be much larger if it's the only thing in the photo.
