Up Streamby BugzeyeComment: I don't like the red tinting on this. It seems a little overdone and like there was a white balance mistake--something unintentional rather than purposeful. |

Wake up!by ZILAComment: I like the textures but the lighting seems rather flat. More dynamic lighting would really have helped--especially with the stonework. |

Whiteby kwiktorComment: I think this image would really have benefited from a stronger use of the rule of thirds. Placing the focal point smack in the center like that is practically never a good idea. Other than that, I think that this image is very very cool. Nice use of contrast and pattern to creat a dynamic shot. |

Wood Printby NovaTigerComment: I originally tried to get the woody in focus as well, but because of the lack of depth in the image (as in from lens to backdrop) I had to basically shoot a macro shot which, even with f/22, could not give me enough DoF to get the woody in focus. That said, I realized as I looked at the original unedited image before I went to edit it that I prefer having the woody out of focus because it adds dimensionality to what would otherwise have been a very flat and simple feeling image. |

Heliotrope Shoals by DrAchooComment: Oh God, you didn't.....*&^@$% Cannon Beach. I am voting a 1 on every image from that place from here on. You are a bad, bad man to shoot there. |

Cape Harbourby jacoloComment: Image needs to be larger. Too hard to see the detail on these smaller ones. |
