Okay, now I get it. Nice image. I think it would have done well in the right challenge.

What the heck does this have to do with "after the game?"

Wasn't this supposed to be in Bokeh?

Is this in the wrong challenge? Looks like bokeh not sports. I like it though.

Confused on how this fits the challenge. Cute photo.

Really like this picture - strong composition and effective lighting.
err.. but should it have been entered in the 'Boteh' Challenge?
(I think it would have done well there too!)

I don't see the sporting venue... I like the background pumpkin light bokeh.

DNMC. Why would you enter this in this challenge?

I suspect you entered this in the wrong challenge. Nice bokeh, though. 3

This would be an awesome entry for bokeh, but I'm failing to connect it for "After the Game." Nice composition and colors.

I like this image a lot and suspect it was meant for the bokey challenge???? The straw/paper in front of the scarecrow's (looks mroe liek a witch to me) eye is very distracting. I like the pumpkin shaped lights in the background. Nice composition.

how is this after the game?

This does not meet the challenge requirements. Sorry.

5 - because it is done good, but I don't get it...

hmmm,i'm not quite sure how this fits in the challenge...was this supposed to be a bokeh 3 submission?

This would be perfect in the Bokeh challenge!

I'm not sure of the relation to the challenge. I may be missing the point, if so sorry.

I'm not getting the connection to "After the Game"--sorry!

looks like a great entry for the bokeh challenge. If we consider trick or treating a sport, then this could also work here. I'm saying it's a sport as when I was a kid we competed to see who got the most candy. :)

I don't see the connection to the Challenge...

DNMC, but a very nice picture indeed! Love the bokeh of the lights...

I see circles - could this be a bokah entry in the After the Game challenge! I hate it when that happens!

Oh dear, oh dear. I have an idea that you entered this in the wrong Challenge. It has nice bokeh, but just doesn't have anything to do with sports and sports venues.

It's so good and so cute. I'm gonna give you high marks for trying!

well, I tried for a bit to get the connection. Can't find it. 1

Interesting photo - wrong competition so I rated it low. I think you meant to put it in Bokeh

How does this have anything to do with after the game?

DNMC...what event or venue is this? Or is it even at a sporting event.
  Photographer found comment helpful.
10/25/2006 05:24:42 PM
I can't see how this relates to the topic at all. The image itself is nice enough (5 or 6) with good bokeh (wrong challenge perhaps?) but DNMC=3

What game was the scare crow in?
  Photographer found comment helpful.
10/25/2006 03:50:49 PM
Was this for bokeh? The straw covering part of his face is distracting.
  Photographer found comment helpful.
10/25/2006 01:18:54 PM
I'm sure every comment you've gotten has said this, but it still has to be said: nice bokeh.
  Photographer found comment helpful.
10/25/2006 10:26:51 AM
this might be bokeh but not after the game
  Photographer found comment helpful.
10/25/2006 09:58:16 AM
Well, I like the bokeh and DOF regarding the pumpkin. The scarecrow has nice color but the corn husk in front of the face really takes away from it. On the image itself, I'd give it a 6, but unfortunately, it really does not meet the challenge in my opinion (DNMC).

Details: Your challenge this week is deceptively simple: photograph a sporting venue after the game is over and the players and people have gone home :-)

Did you mean to enter this in the Bokeh challenge? I don't understand the relevance to "after the game" for this one.

Very nice Bokeh - to obad you submitted inthe wrong challenge.
  Photographer found comment helpful.
10/25/2006 02:58:19 AM
Here's one for Bokeh. ;)

Personally I would have entered this in Bokeh, I bet it would have scored higher than mine. I think it's actually quite clever, what with the pumpkin and all. There's no "halloween" themeatic challenge (yet) but maybe you could do a reshoot of this if one turns up.

I give this 6, as if it were in Bokeh. Which it's not, but we both know that.

Very nice shot, good composition and colors, unfortunately I fail to see the relation to the challenge subject.

I'm gonna guess this one was for the Bokeh challenge? I love the lights in the background though.
  Photographer found comment helpful.
10/25/2006 12:18:41 AM
Uh oh, I suspect you meant to be in "bokeh" :( I like the shot, and my only suggestion would be to have moved the piece of raffia across its face. Too bad it won't get the score it should, since it DNMC in this challenge :(
