14 Minutes Passed to a New Dayby quarxComment: Nicely taken photo, nice contrast and layout. Just doesn't grab me visually as much as some others this week. Technically really like it though. Crisp and clean. 5, Kavey |

Styleby MiekaComment: Interesting. Light on mannekin "skin" a little harsh and some shadows a little dark but nice composition. |

Fall Fashionby GotchaComment: I love this idea. Two things that niggle - the big black area at the top of the mirror reflection and the fact that the mirror top is only just cropped off. If it was cropped more it would be OK but it's almost all visible but not quite! Lovely idea though and great poses. 5, Kavey |

Coming Up Rosesby daysezComment: Wishing you were allowed non traditional ratios. Would like to crop just above upper leaf so leaves make diagonal across whole photo. 6, Kavey |

Opening Soonby syamjonimiComment: I promised myself I'd comment on all photos which I scored >=5 but I am a little stuck on this one. I know I am definite about my rating of it - I rate photos to my own internal plan (1 means this, 2 means this) but also against each other. I just don't know why I don't like this more/ less than I do. I will come back to it and try and be more useful if I can. Apologies for my lack of anything useful (though for all I know all my comments are useless and no help at all!). 5, Kavey |

newbieby aelithComment: oooh I like this. I love the hairy stem on the left and the leaf below with it's glinting moisture (dew?) and criss cross of shadows. Just don't like the great big shadow on the tomato. (You say tomayto, I say tomahto). 6, Kavey |

A New Lily for a New Dayby jimmspComment: This is just beautiful, though the composition and stem keep dragging my eye down and out of the frame. The colours are marvellous. 7, Kavey |

Spankin' Newby NeroComment: A really unusual shot of what is, perhaps, an obvious subject matter. This really is one of the best and most unusual baby photos I have seen for a long time. I love that you can see the downy skin in such detail and the lovely newborn shape to the closed eyes and the DOF is great. I really like this. One question, looking into the background, I can see the baby's arm at the top left, but what is it at the top right? 9, Kavey |
