Actually, 13 min. 51 to 54 sec, but that's picking nit. Nice shot. The only thing I don't really like is how the outer ring came out. The 20 is almost missing and the 10 and 30 are hard to see, the rest are better....8 Swash

I have to just wonder, if the same person did this one as did the last one in the transitions challenge. I like how the second hand rests right on the the marks. I like the texture in the wrist band. There is a small yellow something to the right of the watch. Good job capturing this one, and good luck in the challenge.

I love the concept. And the photo is very well executed. No harsh shadows or bright spots. There is a nice obscure reference to the something new challenge which can easily be deduced by looking at the picture for longer than a few seconds. One rant thought...what an odd choice of time....14 minutes? This might have confused a few people as I would have probably gone for 12:00 with the seconds hand going from 12 to 4 seconds.....I understand it's hard to capture but it's certainly doable...

nice! The sharpness looks a tiny bit flat, but this is a nicely composed photo... good work :) - jmsetzler

I liked this pic. It almost seems like time can exist all at the same time - like there is no past present or future. Something to ponder on the new day.

The motion of the second hand is good. Lighting and color are fine. I'd like a tiughter crop.

Nicely taken photo, nice contrast and layout. Just doesn't grab me visually as much as some others this week. Technically really like it though. Crisp and clean.

Nice, sharp image. Too bad you can't either shoot at a faster speed or stop the second hand. 7

This is a great shot and a great idea. I really like the use of second hand to show time passing – none of us are getting any younger :-( I can't fault it technically; it's a tough shot, a clever idea and you've done it well… (10)

Did you notice how long your shutter was open? Pretty cool!

very crisp shot...love the prolonged exposure effect..good job!

I like the picture, but I think I would have set the hands at exactly 12:00, and gotten the ticks of the second hand passing the 12. JMHO

NIce photo. Would a chronograph be a little more impressive? I think I might trt it, but I must say that I like this photo.

The shot is wonderful, but I'm "iffy" on whether or not it meets the challenge. It just doesn't convey "Something New" to me. lhall

Good color and depth, but I don't see how it relates to the challenge subject.

I think this photo would have more of an impace if the time read midnight, but I like it a lot how it is. I'm going to give it a 9.

Am getting a little tired of the watch images at the challenges here. This, however, is a very clean, sharp shot. I like how you positioned the watch at an angle and the overall composition.
