I really like this picture as b&w, it makes the picture. the shadows play along making the ground to the right not so empty. the fact that its a homemade swing, brings back lots of childhood memories....unfortunately the younger voters may never have enjoyed or experienced this wonderful memory. Milk and Cookies
I really like this, its a good closeup of the cookie, I might've shot it with a bit darker background though. I also read once that in commercial pictures, of something like this, they actually use Elmers glue instead of milk, it looks like milk in the picture, doesn't look watery, and now get this, they say it looks more appietizing....lol I do like it though, good job. I remember a place like this....thanks for bringing it back to me. On the technical side the only thing I'd like to see is the same photo, cropped to where not as much of the sky is in the picture. Other than that.....I like it. (9)

My true Love
This is a really great picture, love the dof, love the lighting, but its not a pencil. This would definitely get you at least a 9 if the challenge were "ink drops", "pens", or even "shadows", keep in mind though its a great shot.

Would love to know how you did this....I've been playing with my camera for months trying to accomplish this....Can you share with me how you did it? Thanks.

Fire Lane: a pencil of a ho[r]se
Ok, I can appreciate the humor here, and if you could've gotten him to hold a real pencil with it, I'd stand up and applaude and give you a 10. And it'd be in the upper half it were a good pic of his pencil....the parking sign is very distracting....maybe if you'd zoomed in on the main subject of the picture a bit more, (i can't believe I'm critiquing a horse's willy), lol, I hope this doesn't start a trend here....we'd have to change the meaning of dpchallenge (deviate pencil challenge). ;)

Congrats, I knew it was a winner. I can't believe you had any marks below a 6 on this. Very creative, still want to know who drew the hand.

Wow, this is a picture that makes me want to come back and see it again, show it to others. If you drew this, I hope your not forsaking your god given talent, its really a great picture. I had to look twice to see it wasn't a real hand on the thumbnail, great job, great idea. For the first time, in a long time, I can give an entry a 10 without having to think about it.
