Day 2by sillygoatComment: I like it. Expression is very demanding, drawing the viewer up away from the color ink on your back (more nice tats). Nice crop/composition. Lovely shot. The bright spot only emphasises your facial features...great job. |

My Favorite Earringsby enajjComment: Again expression and eyes really make the shot work. Great job on the post p. It is a fun and effective shot.
Just me but I'm struggling with the crop a tiny bit; You are looking back into the frame so the left of center placement looks/feels good but I might have gone even further left almost centering the earring and having all that negative space to the right to push the viewer across the frame. |

_DSC9552425a.jpgby KhatieComment: Nice sharpness and clarity. Creative use of less than photogenic task. As others have mentioned the lighting, I'm actually nearly ok with it. I might have gone with a tighter crop (off the top) but that is just a personal thing. |

Loose Strandsby WyrdlingComment: There you go... make the viewer think about the shot. Simple and soft, I like it. Great capture. |

Day 1by view360Comment: Great job, nice tones and lighting. Yup that 10 second timer thing can be hit or miss with sharpness (you got a good one here). I used to put an object, where I would be standing, for the camera to focus lock on; Hit the shutter release, run over and move the object and hope I was standing in the right place... your right lots of work but can be done.
This is a nice shot and turned out pretty darn cool; when shooting close in Self Port/portraits don't be afraid to do an even closer crop. I might have cropped this even tighter to emphasis the eyes/expression. Maybe something like
Left some negative space on the right but I removed the black area on the top so the viewer doesn't get drawn off and out of the top of the frame (IMO of course). |

Day 1by sillygoatComment: Very nice, just enough of a smile to make us wonder what you are thinking. Great ink. Pretty darn good for a quickie. Let's get a tad bit more lighth on those big brown eyes...I bet they can be piercing.
You mention the 420EX behind you in a couple shots now, just curious how you are triggering that? I trigger mine with a 580EXII but that gets old especially when I disable flash on the 580 when using with strobes... is there another way to trigger the 420? |
