I love these earrings, I feel good about the world when I wear them, and I think I look super cool in them too :D So I tried to look like how I feel when I wear them in this picture. I had a few different looks throughout the shoot, but this was my favorite/I couldn't stand to sit outside in the heat anymore!

Lighting Conditions-I'm outside in the shade of a tree with a wrinkled sheet hung on a fence.

PP-I did alot and didn't write it down, and played with stuff and then deleted...so this is my best guess
-lots of stuff in raw conversion-heightened exposure, a little fill light, heightened clarity....other stuff too...
-cloned the bg to smooth out the wrinkles (should have ironed!)
-model makeover
-levels, color balance, contrast (no curves! a first for me)
-selective color on the bg
-two vignette's, one close in and another further out
-soft light layer at ~40%

really pretty picture, you look very glamorous : )
Love the orange background, it compliments the summery feel to the image. The whites of your eyes are really bright, which is good, but I also agree with louis that if your eyes were that bit sharper it would be better. but still, great photo and well edited : )

Again expression and eyes really make the shot work. Great job on the post p. It is a fun and effective shot.

Just me but I'm struggling with the crop a tiny bit; You are looking back into the frame so the left of center placement looks/feels good but I might have gone even further left almost centering the earring and having all that negative space to the right to push the viewer across the frame.

Very nice portrait. For my taste it begs to be sharp, especially at your eyes. There's a softness to the focus that, in my opinion, works less than were it very sharp. Great pose, composition is nicely done, and your post work is great for this picture.

yes indeed this is hard. The earrings are fun and fabulous :D I love how you smoothed out the background too (very clever!). My only suggestion would be to tone down the yellow - on my screen it's a little too strong on your skin.

Great earrings, I agree, what can be better than having love and peace together as one? Wonderful self portrait. I like the skin tones and overall color to this. I like this from your description; I did alot and didn't write it down, and played with stuff and then deleted...so this is my best guess . It seems to be the case for every challenge entry with me. lol
