you've created a very nice shot here - lighting is wonderful, border adds to the composition, two subjects get even and interesting treatment as you've placed them well in the frame. your use of light allows this color shot to take on the feel of a sepia one but keeps the dimention of color. One of the better flower shots this time around

i like the juxtaposition of the soft flowers and pointy cactus (perhaps more dof or closer to get a better sense of the cactus) I'm left with the overall feeling that I'm too far away from the composition to really study it and "get inside" the frame. I'd suggest getting in closer

nice use of light and colors. I'd suggest using either light, dof, or lessing the amount flowers to add a focal point(s) as presented it's a bit jumbled with some flowers cut off.

very well done, great composition, greens add nicely as they draw my eye to your main subject, well exposed and crisp pansey. one of the better flower shots this time around

nice grouping of flowers - presents a very frame-filling and satisfying bunch. nice positioning in the frame. lighting seems a bit uneven (dropping off at the sides) which works well except for a bit of fuzziness in the side flowers (not sure if I like it or not but it pulls my eye away from the center) Suggestion: I'd like a bit more light to have the colors pop a bit more.

one of my favorite flowers -- good choice on the black as the purple/orange really pop. I'd like to see a bit more of the stem as it seems too tightly cut off at the bottom - the center of the flower (the purple/tanish part) is not quite right - could be it's fuzzy "past its peak" look??

Spring Tulip

You've lit this yellow flower to perfection as it really pops from the background. I'd like it to be totally in focus as your background is nicely all out of focus. The border detracts as it contains no color found in your shot so it competes with the composition and almost becomes an element (vs. a finishing edge). I'd like a bit more negative space on the right and bottom of the yellow petals.

you've done a good job of painting with light -- i really like the dark flowers in the background as it plays against the lighter one. the lighter one needs something more to make it the main subject - perhaps a tighter crop, a bit more light - not sure.
