 I have missed the Painting with Light challenge out because of lack of time. Now I played along with this technique: I was shaking my light source very softly. I underexposed the photo on purpose, the level of the exposition correcture is -1.0

PS: crop, resize, auto contrast, cloning out some really dark leaves that would have distract some, border.

There are some lovely flower portraits in this March study and this is certainly one of them. Soft focus and warm coloring against the black make this stand out beautifully. Pretty good border too! 8

you've done a good job of painting with light -- i really like the dark flowers in the background as it plays against the lighter one. the lighter one needs something more to make it the main subject - perhaps a tighter crop, a bit more light - not sure.

The yellow is warm and pleasing, although maybe a tad underexposed due to the painting with light. It also makes the image a little soft, but I think that may go with the theme of being a delicate image. Not so sure about the dead center composition, though. It's a good shot, just not a lot of wow factor for me, sorry.
