Cheese Fondueby alanfreedComment: Very nice! Good simple composition, utilizing a couple of strong diagonals. The red fondue pot adds a lot to this without over powering. The bread could be better. Not your fault, but it looks spongy rather than good and crusty. The black bg works well here.
Overall nice picture. |

Caribbean Rice & Spicy Porkby michael_pComment: Oh my!!! This is my kinda eating!!! I always like ethnic foods, and this one is nicely presented. I can't tell what the little yellowish things are on the pork. Is it corn? Woulda been better without them. Also I don't think you need the parsley. There is enough green already with the chives, peas and peppers. Red peppers would have been even better. |

Rigatoni Loversby A WeaverComment: Good image. Smart too...since almost everyone loves Italian food. You used colour very well here. Ilike that you took the time to dip the rim in chopped parsley. Using wine in a stem glass helps complete the picture. My only nitpick is the two utensils sticking up. Imho they don't really contribute to the overall picture. But that's just me perhaps. Still one of my faves so far. |

California Rollby TooCoolComment: Good job capturing the colours. I'm not sure I like the ultra shiny plate. I think it detracts frm the subject. Overall nice! |

Pasta salad with grilled vegetableby sahkoComment: Nice use of colour, good dof, and I like the subject. The cheese, is it ricotta? It is a bit oe. It's a tough one to get right, prolly shoulda left it out of the pic. I'm not crazy about the composition. Maybe because it is cut down too close to the middle. The place may is a distraction. The wooden bg would work better. I think you may have used it to define two parts: ingredients and finished dish. I think more cohesion would be effective. |

Pod Buddiesby DiamondPeteComment: I like this image. Great stand out against the black bg. Although it's food, I don't really equate recipe though, so I'm not sure it meets the challenge. |
