Thanks everyone. I'm glad other people found this funny too. I had some actual recipe photos but I just couldn't stop myself from submitting this one! I found the voting breakdown really interesting.

Good show Jason!
I use the showman's way of starting the BBQ. Turn on the gas, step back, light a match and throw it in. Wooof! I did this one day and about 5 seconds later a mouse jumps up on the side of the BBQ, down on to the ground, and off into the bushes. I'm still not sure who was the most surprised out of the two of us. |

| Chipmunk should be marinated before grilling. But he's so cute I'd hate to eat him. You caught a great pose. Good composition. You probably didn't have much control over the lighting, but the way the top of the grill is lit works well. A little sharpening might enhance the texture of the critter's fur. |

| I like the picture, if the challenge were something about Animals, I'd rate it a 9, but Recipe, I'd say is off topic - humor notwithstanding - 6 - he appears to be too willing a subject to be a serious candidate for grilling. |

| Cute photo, but he looks kinda lean to me ;) Lighting is good, the darker color scheme is nice. Has a good open feel to it. I do feel it leans more towards a humor challenge than actual recipe/food - but since folks have been known to eat them.. 7 |

| This to me suits teh Irony contest alot better as teh chupmunk appears to be playing with fire so to speak, great capture but I don't see it fitting the challenge. |
