Up Where the Air is Clearby PatellaComment: i would have had this as one of my top three if you could have gottne a low angle shot of the person flying th ekite with the kite in the background! Beautiful sky works for you..just needed that extra dimension of the kite flyer. |

Orange Symphony by FranziskaLangComment: this photo caught my eye the first time I voted and I am still waiting for some phot to appeal to me more. My favorite color photo. Seems a bit soft or grainy. but I can't tell if its me or ifits really is that way. Either way I like it. |

My Flagby fayewhiteComment: A nice flag shot although I think we are getting flagged out I like the aspect and lines here. I ms seeing a few chromatic articfacts coming through the tree leaves. Shooting sunlight through tight spots , especially tree leaves is one of the hardest things to do in digital. Digital cameras, except for maybe the best ones of $700 or more, seem to have a hard time with adding chromatic atifacts to edges in when backlit heavily. It tended to distract slightly ffrom the subject. Still agood photo |

Working in the Skyby BAMartinComment: Nice shot. One of those photos that you cannot vote on fairly in the thumbnail. the glass is interesting with its hangers and his reflection is good too. Makes me wish I had building where they needed window washers. good shot |

Homeworkby Crystal StreamsComment: Easily my favorite black and white (or sepia I guess). I had a photo along these lines with my daughter working on her homework but shes a teenager and makes a horrible subject..to self concious to get a natural shot >:-( Nice focus and overall a quality shot. |

looking down at daddyby jbruno1397Comment: I like the photo but...there are not enough clues beyond the title to give you the impression she is looking down. Just some simple out of focus background clues would have been helpful to the photo or maybe if she had hair that was more drapey (is that a word?) |

A Dog's Lifeby GordonComment: One of 5 subjects I had taken photos of. Fire hydrants always seem to look good from the ground up and I like the silver one here. Couldnt make my mind up whether I would have left the light in the photo or not. I could go either way. Anytime you add another subject into what is basically an inanimate object portrait shot you risk losing emphasis on the main subject. None the less, I like this photo |

Transition No. 4by tlalondeComment: I also had this photo rated very high. I cannot understand the 1's and 2's. You have all the elements. A great cropping, great expsosure, great color and contrast and right on subject. This was one of my three best and best color photo. Color is harder to do right than b&w in my opinion and I find myself being very picky on the color photos. |
