| realllly like this picture. every time the home page loads I marvel at the color and texture. it's surreal. oh and the funny thing? color scheme goes perfect with the small thumbnail of my entry! : ) you'll see what I mean after this challenge ends... |

| I love how the light goes trhough the petals ever so lightly. It looks beautiful. Good job on the color and the light compensation and stuff. I like. |

| Wow - thanks for all your nice comments and the votes! :o) To answer the most often made comment: I did take the picture again when I had a little more time to try and get the stem in focus, too, but wasn't really able to, even with max DOF, so, unfortunately, that will remain unfocused. |

| this photo caught my eye the first time I voted and I am still waiting for some phot to appeal to me more. My favorite color photo. Seems a bit soft or grainy. but I can't tell if its me or ifits really is that way. Either way I like it. |

| I would call this artsy. I could imagine a blowup of this photo hanging on a wall in a very contemperary office suite. You have done a good job in framing this scene. You caught the light just right for the subject. The contrast seems to strike a nice balance in this photo. Good job. |

| This is very nice. Color and focus makes it look like fine art. Only thing I wonder about is thr"breaking up" in the stem and pod area. Maybe oversharpened? |

| This is one of my favorite photos in this challenge. I don't see much here that could have been done better. I like the fact that the stem is blurred so it doesn't distract me from the backlit petals of this lovely flower. Excellent job! |

| Very nice, very simple. If you're getting comments at all similar to mine, people will be split on whether or not the stem should be in focus. I think it's just fine as it is. |
