Mine too, but not a very interesting rendition... needs more flag

A fitting background to go with the red/blue, though the flag looks a little distorted. if the wind were blowing or you stretched it out, i think it might've looked stronger.

I'm getting dizzy just looking at this - great angle. One of my top 10 photos!

A nice flag shot although I think we are getting flagged out I like the aspect and lines here. I ms seeing a few chromatic articfacts coming through the tree leaves.

Shooting sunlight through tight spots , especially tree leaves is one of the hardest things to do in digital. Digital cameras, except for maybe the best ones of $700 or more, seem to have a hard time with adding chromatic atifacts to edges in when backlit heavily. It tended to distract slightly ffrom the subject. Still agood photo

I am the other flag photo in this challenge and I hope you aren't getting the nasty comments that I am. I suppose it will all come clean in the end! It is a GREAT day when you can look up and see this flag waving! Nice composition.

Too much zoom....the flag does not seem to be taken from below.

Nice shot... very colorful!

Bravo on your bravery. Flag shots have been routinely slammed in this forum and for all the wrong reasons. This one has a terrific composition, but I would like to see the flag brighter.

Very colorful picture with decent framing. The sky looks a little bleached out (must have been a sunny day), but the picture is so filled with the flag and the green trees that it's not a distraction. I like how close up you got with the flag, as if you know what the flag feels like if you were to touch it. That's getting this picture some points from me. I also like how the plant life is out-of-focus, since it's not the focus. That gets points too. A solid effort overall. I wish I could suggest ways to help improve this picture. It definitely doesn't feel perfect, but I can't put my finger on how to go about making it better.

Nice background. I love the colors.

Hehe.

wish the sky was more blue, but what can you do.
04/29/2002 08:42:00 AM
cropped a bit too tightly for me

The contrast between red and green is nice, as is the composition. Of course, I would have preferred blue sky instead of white, but that was probably beyond your control. Maybe a little less depth of field too, if you could have.

Great!
