Abandonedby hokieComment: Beautiful! Very cleverly composed to bring the eye up to the windows in the background. The subject of the photo is the age of the building, even if the weeds have the focus. 10 for subtelty :) - lisae |

2nd/3rd century ADby stephanComment: This is a beautiful photo. The strong shadows add a lot to the mood and the regal bearing of the statue. One of my favourites! 10 - lisae |

EncRustby willsy66Comment: Nice abstract photo. I like your use of DOF to add depth. |

Old Man of the Forestby bobgaitherComment: WOW! I know it's very hard to photograph things like that, because you can't get much into frame, and you need to establish the scale of it. You accomplished the second part really well, but the photo itself is just a bit flat to me. |

The Foundation of Lifeby RoninComment: Wow, beautiful! Somehow, although this picture is very abstract, with no clear centre of interest, I still don't feel that it's confusing. The black and white is very rich. |

wise eyesby subtleComment: This photo is a bit bewildering... I'm sure there's something I should be seeing, but I'm not. The eye doesn't look very old, and there's only one of them, and I can't make out anything in the reflection... so what does it have to do with age or wisdom? It's very nice black and white though, and I love the soft focus. |

Communicationby RedRuthannComment: Technically very nice and an interesting subject. I like the use of sepia to enhance the rust. |

Never Againby Ricky CleaveComment: Very complex. Black and white probably helps simplify it, but the impact is a bit confusing. I think I would have tried to find an asymmetric way to frame it that would draw the eye to one point. |
