Lovely, loving image. A beautiful baby, with full cheeks and forehead, understanding eyes and expressive mouth, with that wonderful reflection on the lower lip. The muted tones and textures are perfect for the subject. I see the original, but in this b & w version the room seems dim and intimate, so nicely done. The best surprise, only lately noticed, is his/her mother coddling from above, almost disappeared but radiant with love. I don't feel the highlights improve the picture, but aside from that it's utterly charming.

Nice heavy and amusing edit. Great vivid coloring. I imagine these big gummy flowers are about to go all 'little shop of horrors' on the scene and will devour the lamp and trees, and then wash it down with some canal water. Burp.

That first one is hilarious, like an elf, love it when they do that. My dog also has a hard time with his lip getting stuck on his teeth, he goes from looking so intelligent to so stupid, funny.
