 done for the Gratitude in May Side challenge

this is a part of the firetrail where me and katee walk .. i love that every day its different .. altho often quite subtley .. depending on what time of the day you walk there .. and weather .. if its sunny or cloudy .. or raining .. or misty .
its beautiful when its misty .. altho when its sunny there are more insects .. eeny meeny miney mo ..

i'm grateful that nearly every time i walk on this firetrail .. with my camera .. there is something that catches my eye to photograph and take me into that zone where my worries fade away ..

katee passed away on the 4th June .. nearly a month after i took this pic ..

I think you've nailed it. That zone we enter where our worries fade away.. that's exactly what happens when I take my camera on a trek. Katee agrees and she's just making sure you're still there and haven't fallen into a rabbit hole. Cute photo!

Nice image. I like how you've let the background trail and forest fade to magic. And that look from Katee that says "I want you with me." You have a fine intimacy with gratitude.
