It's Snowingby BackpackRComment: Very cute girl, wonderful colors, you got the shutter speed just right for the snow. But I agree with the others, I would cut back a bit on the brightness of her face. |

Elmerby Yo_SpiffComment: Great environmental portrait. Love the dog (even though it is quite untraditional), gives it an unposed look. |

Robby PennyStreetComment: Wow, that is impressive what you can do with the good lens and the good high-ISO performance! Excellent DOF/bokeh. Looks like you might have oversharpened Rob just a bit, which left you with the artifacts Paul was talking about. Might try Topaz Detail for the sharpening, it tends to be more gentle with the edges. |

I Love NYby stupidcatComment: Nice lighting (BTW, which ones did you get?), great expression. I agree, a bit soft -- but if you could do some selective sharpening on the eyes that might take care of much of it.
But what is an Ohio person doing promoting NY? Go Buckeyes and Bearcats!!!! |

Freezing Coldby gsalComment: I too love the crop and negative space. Excellent contrasty shot that somehow manages to keep the face very well exposed. Well done! |

Alta Egoby PaulComment: Very ghostly! Cool but somewhat disturbing upon first look, glad you gave us an explanation (although is it actually much more apparent from the color original). Like how your processing made this very dramatic. |

sing for your supperby JutildaComment: I agree with denbote, excellent candid portrait. He is nicely depicted in his environment, which is helped further by the reflection in the glass behind him. |

Smoke Breakby JedusiComment: Guy looks very old school, whether WWII or Russian (as suggested by others) or something else I don't know. Like how the smoke fades/blurs away into the distance. |
