hot tea on a cold nightby heartsdivideComment: With the help of the title and the tea label, I finally figured out what is going on in this photo. I think this is a difficult and devious angle for photographing a glass of tea. |

Winter to Springby jimmspComment: Nice contrast... Maybe a little closer with the camera... the mulch is nice but the flowers are nicer! |

splatby eadwineComment: This is a nice shot! I would have liked to have seen this one in the stopped motion challenge. This appears to be a frying pan but I'm not really sure what the transition is other than the liquid into the pan. This photo could stand a little more depth of field to bring everything into sharper focus. Nice entry! |

Air Noahby sjgleahComment: Mr Noah is Airborne! Nice action shot.. good motion stop. If I were framing this shot, I would have tried to hide the brick wall that he's jumping from... |

Is This Your Card?by ReignComment: I love the concept of stopped motion but the photograph is out of focus. Focus is a basic element of all good photos. |

In Flight by joshuamliComment: This is going to be very difficult for me not to rate this photograph highly. This is an AWESOME photo. The composition is almost perfect. The wing is a little close to the bottom of the frame. The sharpness, detail, and perfect depth of field here makes this a phenomenal photograph. I am voting on this photograph by the same method I voted on another GREAT bird photograph. It would receive a 10 if the challenge was Birds. A gliding bird is a rather stationary object. I can't buy into this as a great interpretation of the challenge of "stopped motion". I related this to photographing a ferrari riding on a flatbed rail car in my earlier comments on another photograph. Kudos on the GREAT photo and keep up the good work. |

Before Thunderby DanielComment: I have issues with people photogrphed from behind. I do see the stopped ball in the photo and recognized this as the stopped motion. The visual impact of this photo would be enhanced if the shot was a vertical orientation rather than horizontal and if shot from the other side of the batter. |
