staminaby aeli2468Comment: I love black and whites. This is an excellent photo but I would like to see a more dramatic instance of stopped motion. |

Jugglingby debcardComment: I would like to see your other hand and the third ball in this photo. A photo of juggling should include all the elements that are being juggled :) |

Jum.by cthenkComment: She does look happy! The shadow is possibly hiding the idea that she is in the air.... |

Uneven Fightby ChrommonkyComment: I like the stopped motion concept of this photo but I believe the lighting needs a little adjustment. The overall photo is a little dark. I believe that this particular shot would have been better framed in a vertical photo rather than horizontal. |

Dripby DominicComment: This is nice! Kudos on a difficult photograph... For my constructive criticism on this shot, I would like to comment on depth of field. The top portion of the water stream is losing focus as it gets closer to the top of the photo. The only way to correct that, other than a smaller aperture, would be to shoot this shot at a flatter angle, which would have dectracted from the ripples in the back of the photo. There is also a bubble in front of the water stream that is out of focus. The 'splash' effect you have here is really nice! |

Spring!by KarenBComment: I wonder what this photo would look like with a tighter crop around the child? I'm not sure, but I think the subject may be slightly out of focus. |

kerplunkby lecookComment: Very nice! I like this splash. There isn't much I can criticize on this photograph. The small bubble on the lower portion of the frame adds a lot to this shot. Maybe the only comment I could make is that the splash is dead center in the photograph. I wonder if it would have been more dramatic if it had been placed off center. It would have also been interesting to see a closer crop so that the splash occupies a larger portion of the frame. Great work! |

Old Gloryby SpeignerComment: Hmmm... flags and crosses... flags and crosses.. I think I read how I was supposed to vote o this somewhere... lol.. anyway... Composition here is great. I need one of these on my wall at work. I am struggling with 'stopped motion' on this one. I'm not sure that it's the best subject for stopped motion. It is a good subject, but I'm begging for better. I love the photo, composition, and technical pieces, but I'm still begging for a better 'stopped motion' subject. |

Fly'in Highby ShiiizzzamComment: This is nice! A slightly faster shutter speed would have frozen the tires and spokes a little better :) |

Splashedby mciComment: The stopped motion in this photograph is fine. Focus and depth of field are fine too. As I was reading through some of the forums on this site when I first joined, I read some discussion about the Rule of Thirds. You may want to investigate this because it would have improved this photograph significantly. If you had placed that drain on one of the lower half intersecting lines, the impact of the shot would have been much greater. Look up "The Rule of Thirds" and see if you agree :) |
