Antique Kitchen Toolby KimblyComment: I don't really understand the tool, but the photographic quality and composition is excellent... diagonals always work for me and your background is pristine :) great shot :) = 8 - jmsetzler |

getting oldby melloComment: I really like this photo... I love the lighting and the expression on the child's face. This is a very nice portrait for sure... I think it's very weak on the challenge though... I don't see old and I don't get a feeling of old... - jmsetzler |

Dinky Carsby JeanComment: nice work with the mirror... as for composition, did you try shooting this from a slightly higher angle? I think that could make a minor improvement... Also, I think a little extra breathing room on the left and right woudl be a nice enhancement :) - jmsetzler |

untitledby aelithComment: interesting play with light here... the blown out glow through the back of this barn looks pretty interesting :) good work - jmsetzler |

Cracked Bubblesby WillaComment: this is a good subject for this challenge... the lighting seems a little strange... going from extreme dark to extreme light may not be the best choice... I wonder how this image would look with the light a little more even on the subject? - jmsetzler |

The old ladies homeby AzrifelComment: This photo shows something old... My mind wants to see the entire doorway, however. The small bit of railing on the bottom of the frame is a moinor distraction... the fact that the photo is not 'level' is not a problem... :) - jmsetzler |

Portrait of an Old Violinby paganiniComment: nice work! The only suggestions i have for this one is to either include the entire string or remove it completely... I also would like a diagonal orientation, but that is just my personal preference... great shot :) = 9 - jmsetzler |

Grandma's lamp, 1918by Frank BeckmanComment: This is a neat photo of an old lamp... you did an excellent job of removing a possibly distracting background with the black backdrop. In this particular image, i believe that teh lamp shade could use a little extra 'breathing room' at the top and on the sides... this lamp feels 'cramped' in this space :) - jmsetzler |

I'm Rusted & Weathered barely holding togetherby TracyComment: This old girl isn't dead yet :) I could be mistaken here, but it looks like this old truck has one of those chain link steering wheels :))) I like the black and white here but I think you may have over sharpened a little maybe... if you look at some of the diagonal lines in the photo, you can see some jagged edges... this is sometimes caused by sharpening... good shot :) - jmsetzler |
