the reflections of the cranes work well

this is a great idea. the colors are very nice, and I like the image within the image thing going on. two suggestions. if you back up and zoom in, you can get rid of the distortion that comes from shooting with a wide angle lens. also, if you stand in the middle of the two windows, you could get them nice and flat and hopefully still not catch your own reflection.

Very well done, excellent job

It took me a minute to see the reflecton in the windows...after seeing that, I think that this is not only a great picture but a great statement...good job! - 9

Something old. Use your photographic technique to emphasize the age of your subject.
Composition - quite good
Technical Aspects - quite good. Did you try this in B&W?
Meets Challenge - probably
Visual Impact / Originality - good. Needs some studing

I like this very much though the way the verticals of the wood aren't vertical in the frame jars a little, I appreciate you couldn't have taken it face on without being in it though so I don't know a solution. I think it's a GREAT idea for a shot.

I like this shot very much! The contrast is very clearly depicted.

This was a surprisingly difficult one to shoot I bet. Getting those reflections in the windows without catching yourself in there too has meant you had to stand slightly off to one side - and that means the tops of the window frames are quite square with the top of the picture frame. There's no real solution to this I dont think except perhaps getting down on the ground and shooting up at the windows. I doubt that would have made such a nice picture, though. I love the colours and the concept of the reflections. Very good work.

love the reflections

Clever juxtaposition.

Great reflections. Really poignant. But I think they are a little lost. Maybe I'd have somehow cropped out the green at the bottom, or concentrated on one window in a vertical orientation.

I like this picture!!! Great idea!!! #1... yay, yay, yay!!!

Wonderful contrast with the reflections in the window. It looks like construction of a new building next to this old one.

Nice photo. Good composition leaving some of the green foliage to contrast against the weathered building. Plus, I like the speck of purple in the lower right corner for a touch of additional color. If equipment would have allowed, it would have been interesting to see if some of the reflections off the windows could have been eliminated through filters.

nice touch with the reflections... - jmsetzler

good color and I like the reflections of the newer buildings contrasted with the very old one.

nice shot

The reflections in the windows are distracting -- are they there on purpose for contrast?

I can't believe I'm saying this...'love the title!' lol. Nice work! 7 LIsa

Great picture, love the reflection in dirty, broken glass. Fairly bland, but still good. (8)

Great use of reflections. This photo really seems to tell a story of passing time.
