Holland Daysby magnetic9999Comment: Very interesting to have only that one flower in focus. Would work better if that one purple flower were against just green - no yellow and red sharing the foreground. Even then, I'm not sure it holds together as a composition for me. Neat idea though. |

Basidiomycota by crabappl3Comment: Hurray! Not another flower! The mushroom on the right is so crisp! The light from above, and yet the white stems seem to glow. I might crop it to draw more attention to that one mushroom. But I like this photo the way it is too. |

It really is more abstraction than flora - colors and shapes more than what they really are. I really like the photo - just not sure how well it says "flora" |

Standing Aloneby bruster54Comment: you get a sense of the struggle of this little pine - what its environment is like. Wish the tip of the plant were in focus. Perhaps a little more light on the plant to make it stand out a bit better from the background. |
