I am looking to buy a new Digital Camera and wanted to get your professioanl opinion of either the Nikon D200 or the Canon EOS 5D.
I know that the processor is the most important, but what is the Advantage and or disadvantage of either of these Models. What I know is the Canon does have 12.8 MegaPixel and is Full Frame and is suppose to have a better Chip, but I've seen some really nice Colorful Macro Shots with the Nikon D200.

Ultimately, my goal is to incorporate My digital Photos with Digitally Designed Art and enlarge on a LightJet (Requires 150dpi at final size for optimal printing - apparent 4,000dpi)at sizes up to 4'x8'.

Any suggestions on these Cameras or others you might recommed with any info on lenses as well?

Thanks,

Trace

CC: Great macro shot. Good use of filling the background with a complimentary scene, particularly the two other flowers that fill the top of the frame. DoF is good too - you've captured this flower well. I almost feel this is stuck somewhere between too close - to capture more background flowers, and not close enough, to really get in detail with the flower. This is from the fact that the rear flowers are both cropped by the edge of the frame. Good macro.

I like the colors in this photo I'll give it a 10

Pretty, but the composition here feels awkward to me. It's just slightly off centre, but not for any strong compositional reason. The colours and DOF are great though.

Simple and effective. The colors are vibrant. Not sure this crop is the strongest way to present this tulip, but still a high mark from me.

Choice tulip pic. I like these yellow/red tulips most of all, I've taken many such photos. Your image is very good, especially with the shallow DOF which highlights your flower even more.

I would have liked the background a bit more plain.

Great repeatitive theme in the background. Good use of your focal depth and excellent exposure and composition. High rankings for this one.

Your tulip seems to glow from within- very nice.

Fuzzy echos of the tulip provides the perfect backgound - not distracting.

the lighting seems to be a little off (too dark on the bottom).
