Evelyn this is so pretty, the lemon "meringue-ness" of the columbine shows off nicely against that dark green background. I like the feeling of a reflection int he second flower...

great! The blues and greens alternating are a really different touch! The details & shape of the little balloon bloom with the bud behind it, followed by the open bloom gives this awesome dimension! nicely done!

Day 3 - Clematis

nicely done. there must have been storms everywhere last night we had a few doosies here in VT as well!

I like this composition, the arbor adds nice lines to contrast with the softer ones of the vine. not sure about more saturation as others have stated, as this is the bloom's natural color but then again, it would emphasize the bloom.

this is great! I think a crop down to the inner part of the flower, focusing on the stamen & pollen would be a very special image...& then you wouldn't have all that wonderful clarity of the flower's center being diminished by the blur of the petal edges.
