A weed - nothing really "dandy" about it.

Notes added 7/3: LOL on all the comments about capturing the fleeing seedlet. The real story is that this thing was a pristine dandelion - not a single seed missing when I plcked it from the ground, held it up in the air and aimed my camera at it and clicked off a bunch of shots while shaking the crap out of the weed to send the flyers out and this photo was the best I could capture. ROFL. Whatcanyado. :)

Ursula has the perfect way to describe what I felt when I saw this Ken Gem.

You better stay in this, you are too funny! What did this poor guy ever do to you anyway ;) Back to the shot, nice placement in the frame and focus, well for being shaken and all .......

This is as lovely as the other florals in the challenge. Love the softness of the image as well as the floating seed/feather.

I want to ask "who shook your head?" and hope you believe me when iI say it's meant in good fun, you strike me as one who can take it. If not, I apologize! profusely!
why are people begging you to stay? Are you bailing already? just b/c the weed police brought you in for dandelion abuse? Don't you know you should NEVER EVER shake a dandy?? :)

~Cheers, Anni

I'm impressed that you were able to keep the shot in focus with all that shaking goin' on!
Oh, and please stay with this challenge! I think I'll go mad if all I have to make comments on are pretty flower shots.

What is "dandy" about this photo is you caught that seed falling! Very cool.
