Very little editing on this one.
A touch of saturation.
Minor background edit.
Apply soft focus

Love the tones on this.
The background flower blur doesn't seem natural and if you dropped the levels on it a touch and added a rough film grain to it, it would feel better - well maybe in these old eyes anyway..

Masking and dodging...lol..something I have yet to learn. I think I see what you mean...a shadow effect to the right of the top petal? Might have happened with the soft focus effect. If I try to fix it...I'm sure I will muck it up!

Nicely done, eye-catching & full of sunlight.

Don't you just love columbines, so delicate and almost old fashioned looking. I don't think I've seen the all yellow so this is a nice treat. The second is almost a mirror image of the front one, good capture

Oh, WOW! This was made for soft focus. I agree with everyone - this is very dreamy and well composed.

Evelyn this is so pretty, the lemon "meringue-ness" of the columbine shows off nicely against that dark green background. I like the feeling of a reflection int he second flower...

Such an unusual flower design. I would have loved to see some definition in the crevaces.

Thank you! I agree with your comment about the definition. My camera doesn't focus well at close range.
