| The sharpness and delicate beauty of the clematis works well with the background. The background makes it feel like a storm is approaching. The broody background and the delicate flower work well together. |

| Nice composition, inclulsion of the fence works to ground it. Good detail on the flower. This also might work well in black and white or a sepia tone. |

| Lovely shade of lavendar and nice DOF. My favourite tool for adding a little pop to a shot like this is a levels adjustment layer. You just move the black and white sliders in from the edges a little at a time and it makes a big difference. |

Sometimes the best light for taking pictures here in the midwest is just before or after a storm.
I like that the focus is right on the stamens. I don't know whether increasing saturation would improve this bc I like the soft colors. Maybe a tighter crop right to the edge of the left petals and a tiny bit off the right, maybe to the green line. |

I like the contrast of textures of the petals and the center.
Would like to see if a little more contrast would bring this out some more. |

nicely done. there must have been storms everywhere last night we had a few doosies here in VT as well!
I like this composition, the arbor adds nice lines to contrast with the softer ones of the vine. not sure about more saturation as others have stated, as this is the bloom's natural color but then again, it would emphasize the bloom.

Very nice...would like to see a version with a bit more saturation. I'm partial to vibrant colors :)
