_DSC0265.jpgby sulamkComment: Wow, is the blue reflections of the sky or it's real color?
Skarp, crisp, perfect DOF, strong colors ... well done |

Kissesby BarbBComment: I had to come back to this. I tried so often to capture the tongue of snakes. Not often was I successful. So congrats to you for not only getting the tongue but also having it that sharp. Very well done. |

Matchesby StarbananaComment: You gonna love this one: I like the shallow DOF. IT creates perspective and depth. If I had to change one thing: I would have loved to see the sharp parts more to the left and not dead center. But I can follow why you chose it this way. |

snail-study-2-by sfaliceComment: Yeah, I agree the brighter version reveals a lot more details and textures. It also brightens up the background, away from dirty brown. |

snail-study-3-by sfaliceComment: Tough choice you made. with an aperture of 2.8 you achieved a very shallow focus plain. THis moves the majority of your picture into the unsharp part. I would have expected for the "head" part to be in focus and not the part behind the antennas. What you accomplished is a very 'out-of-this-world' etherical pictures. |

Oct 04.jpgby Mr_PantsComment: smart idea to replicate the flower infocus with one in the back OOF (bokeh) |

Oct 05.jpgby Mr_PantsComment: good composition with complimentary colors. The lines of the leaves always bring the viewer back to the bud. If I had one wish for this pic: a little more DOF to get the compleste bud into foacus, not just the top surface. Tough to do,I know. |

Itsy Bitsy Spiderby BudyaComment: good focus on the body. some of the legs are OOF, giving the spider a nice sense of depth. must have been quite a challenge to get this shot while the spider was moving. |
