COMPOSITION -CONTENT - I would have tried to have given more emphasis to the beautiful floor in this image and definitely not included that thing at the back that appears to have two headlights! I think a different angle might have helped to rid you of some of the distractions such as the blown out windows.
CAMERA WORK -TECHNICAL - Exposure is not bad considering the difficult lighting
DIGITAL PROCESSING - TECHNICAL - Would have benefitted from some playing with the levels and usm as the image is a bit soft
YOUR OPINION ON THE PHOTO - I wished that I could visit this beautiful place!

COMPOSITION - Composition was good CAMERA WORK -TECHNICAL - The glass and its contents were well lit and taken.
YOUR OPINION ON THE PHOTO - this image was spoilt for me by the overpowering background which detracted from the main subject The blue fizz. I feel this shot would have placed higher with a more subtle background

COMPOSITION I liked the composition of this image but feel that the top could have had more cropped off it.
BACKGROUND - A little bit too grey on the left edge
CAMERA WORK -TECHNICAL - Very good the shadow and impression of speed that the objects are giving has been very well handled, lighting is good
DIGITAL PROCESSING - TECHNICAL - The background blending is a bit uneven Top left corner darker grey than bottom and middle left.
YOUR OPINION ON THE PHOTO - I thought this was a very good entry I gave it 8 overall

COMPOSITION -CONTENT - I find this too centralised and I think taking it at an angle with the lens pointing upwards would have given a more dramatic effect The overall image could have been slightly brighter and crisper
-
YOUR OPINION ON THE PHOTO - although I am not an american I can relate to this scene and the sense of desolation the figure and flowers portray definitely a good shot at photo journalism

COMPOSITION -CONTENT - This is a good shot but the vertical cropping has detracted from the impact. I would like tosee something of what the soldier is looking back at. My screen is showing a bit of compression artefacts but this may not be obvious on another pc.
CAMERA WORK -TECHNICAL - Colur and lighting are good.
DIGITAL PROCESSING - TECHNICAL - Cropping could be improved upon and resizing
YOUR OPINION ON THE PHOTO - I am left wondering what the soldier is looking back so worriedly at also the general looks rather grim faced and not really displaying national pride!

I would have cropped the flowers and drain out and made the person and the candles the focal point.

Technical: I assume that this was shot through glass as you say it is a window display although I dont see any reflections! The focus is slightly soft and fuzzy, the colourand lighting good.
Composition: As Miss Piggy is the focal point I would have done away with the puppet audience as they are distracting!
I feel this would be better cropped in portrait mode, as it is slightly flattened in the landscape format.
Although this would be good as part of a Christmas article it is not really photo journalism as it would not stand alone with out it's title!
For me although this is a nice shot it does not say Wow!

1) COMPOSITION -CONTENT - I would have focused more on the child, the brown dog is appearing as the focal point of the image. I wonder what the image would have looked like if composed from the left hand side?
(2) BACKGROUND - A very neutral background which neither adds to or subtracts from the main image
(3) CAMERA WORK -TECHNICAL - I feel that the most in focus part of the image is the piece of wall behind the brown dog perhaps the camera locked on to this point

(4) DIGITAL PROCESSING - TECHNICAL - The image has been processed correctly, although perhaps needed some unsharp mask applied after resizing!

(5) YOUR OPINION ON THE PHOTO -Thishave more emotional impact if I didn't get the impression that the child is to clean and the dogs too well fed!
It would be a topical story, for a real photojournalism article that makes a statement, about the plight of the street children of South Africa . I feel this idea had all the components to be a wow image but didn't quite make it! I voted it an eight in the challenge
