COMPOSITION -CONTENT - This is a good shot but the vertical cropping has detracted from the impact. I would like tosee something of what the soldier is looking back at. My screen is showing a bit of compression artefacts but this may not be obvious on another pc.
CAMERA WORK -TECHNICAL - Colur and lighting are good.
DIGITAL PROCESSING - TECHNICAL - Cropping could be improved upon and resizing
YOUR OPINION ON THE PHOTO - I am left wondering what the soldier is looking back so worriedly at also the general looks rather grim faced and not really displaying national pride!

I have to wonder how this would look in a horizontal format. If it had been taken in horizontal, or cropped that way (assuming this is a crop of the original due to the quality) it may have shown more of the scene giving a National Pride feeling.

I like the way the front soldier is looking back. Great shot with vertical lines everywhere...excellent! muckpond

Looks like he's on guard for something. Great shot. Good colors. Nice focus. Good composition and executions. It would make me read the story. PTL7

El generalisimo. Wow, military dictatorships still going strong it seems. Would be better to have the officer standing in the truck as the subject rather than the soldier on the ground. But not always possible.

This is great , you have captured the moment well and the expressions are great here, good foreground, middle and background interest.

exposure seems to be good. you captured the face. the camera seems to be pointed a little high. i would like to have seen less sky and more of the soldier standing on the ground. good photo.

Jpeg artifacts ruin detail and color. Save it at the maximum compression allowed.
