YOU !!! ... i reckon if everyone who was guilty of this transgression where put behind bars, and separated from their cameras and computers, then there'd be a whole heap of ppl not posting in dpc !!.. :)

homeschooling rocks .. i never did it for my daughter but my nieces and nephews were home schooled by my sister-in-law cathy .. she's my brother's wife .. anyway .. they actually got heaps more done, did it all heaps quicker and have turned out the most wonderful young adults ever .. they went to high school, but were home schooled up to when they were about 12 years old .. the idea that they dont socialise with other kids is total rubbish if the family have friends and extended family .. good on you .. it can be difficult i know, but i reckon the results will speak for themselves as they grow up with minds of their own ..

the calender is going to be a total blast .. i reckon it'll be one of those amazingly excellent things that if you have them printed for sale you wont be able to keep up with the demand ..
your cat photographs are amazing .. i think i'm starting to repeat myself !!! .. & i'm so happy that the taking of this 'bunch' of mad photographs of your cats has been responsible for giving you the confidence to think of yourself as a 'real' photographer .. lets substitute the words brilliant & original for 'real' and thats how i see your ability .. :)

your cats are so photogenic .. of course it helps to have someone behind the camera who has a real talent and fantastic eye .. love your processing as usual ..
sometimes during the day, especially when i'm with katee, i'll remember the incredible photographs you take of your cats and wish i could get katee looking so amazingly interesting and full of personality .. it seems that cats are more expressive than dogs .. especially in their movements .. :)

my mum and step-father had a similar cactus .. each flower only lasted a night .. it was a yellow/red coloured one i think .. great to see you back in our side .. :)x

ps .. i found the wolf spider on our bathroom floor .. i took photographs of him there and put him in a glass overnight because i wanted to use him for the macro challenge & the one's on the bathroom floor didnt appeal to me ... i didnt get around to photographing him the next day so i let him go outside .. the day after that i saw a suspiciously similar looking spider on the floor in the hall .. i put a glass over him overnight & in the morning took photographs for the point of view challenge coz i'd got the dragonfly by then .. so that's the story of the wolf spider .. he was getting a bit anxious i think coz the last photographs i took of him i had to take thru a glass .. whenever i moved it away he made a dash for freedom ... after i finished with him i took him outside and let him go .. apparently they can give a very painful bite ..

ahhhhh .. an old dog .. i'm happy that you love him and take him for those excellent walks ... we have an old dog called sasha, she's a cross bull terrier/rhodesian ridgeback/cattle dog cross .. or so the vet thought when she was 6 weeks old ... anyway .. she's now 14 and i'v gotta tell you that the odours that waft from both ends are so powerful that i feel like a bad person coz i dont like to get too near her .. the odours arent helped along by her constant grazing on a miriad of different types of animal droppings in the paddock ..
me, katee and sashy go for a walk on the firetrail nearly every day and we all enjoy those times a lot .. katee coz she's a dog .. sasha coz she is able to partake of even more and different types of revolting things .. & me, coz i'm actually able to be with sashy in the open air, which greatly reduces the intensity of her odours .. altho i can still smell her if she's within a metre of me even if there's a slight breeze .. the vet thought she'd be gone in a year, two years ago, so she's a tough old buggar .. we do love her .. i just wish i could cuddle up with her and give her hugs without feeling nauseous .. its a sad thing when a beloved pet declines .. :)
