Today I was at Hava Java - a non-chain coffee house with a gelato place right next door. They have free wifi and decent coffee prices.

I met with an old friend and we talked for a few hours. This was the view from my chair.

Cropped, resized, levels, lucis wyeth, slightly desaturated, perfectum, more levels.

I tried a few borders, but nothing worked.

Breathless -- that's what this image leaves me! Colors, shapes, love 'em!! Guy in front, is that a motion blurred hand turning the page of the book he is so intent upon? Motion there is wonderful whether yes or no :-) IMO you have mastered the combination of whyeth and perfectum, glasshoppeh....
WOW!!!!!!!!!

This is, like, wow! (Sorry not to be more articulate.) My only critique is that the effect (lucis art?) doesn't seem to be even throughout the picture - especially on the faces. Some are sharp, some blurred, some more cartoonish. Other than that, again, wow! I can see a kind of border that is fading unevenly from the edges. I don't think that made any sense. It's the articulate thing again. hmmm....

Love the colours. Interesting processing, not a big fan of it though. It looks like a sculpture of some sorts....which is good if you were going for that look I guess. LOL

Not usually a fan of this much processing on people pics - but this came out nicely. Groovy (per Darlene) puts it well..

Really great effect. The thumbnail did not look like much, but I was really surprised when I opened it up.

I will defintely make some notes of the process. How about publishing the method on "How'd they do it?"?
