 I love my cactus garden and on Day 22, I was surprised by one of my new cactus plants flowering for the first time. This is the view from the side and the flower was nearly bigger than the plant. The flower only lasted for one day, actually less than that, as it closed up at dusk, and was dead the next morning.

absolutely fantastic colours .. love the hairy bits ..
my mum and step-father had a similar cactus .. each flower only lasted a night .. it was a yellow/red coloured one i think .. great to see you back in our side .. :)x
