Yes, I use a UV filter on my lens when photographing the kitties, as they have all thrust their fuzzy little paws in the lens!

This is Ziggy, brother of Lily. They look very similar except he has green eyes and she has gold eyes; he's a bit bigger as well.

I'm astounded by how you keep cranking out these humorous kitty shots. An alternate title could be "Talk to the paw." :)

I'm LOVING these cat images. I'm a cat lover anyhow, but your images are so artistic. I agree...please get them published and maybe you could donate some of the money to a cat shelter, or maybe your book will bring about an awareness to people, to help abandoned cats by adopting them!!

I'd buy a signed book, too! :)

A book!! That's a genius idea! Seriously Colleen. Get all your cat prints and do one of those online books you can do, and then see if a publisher will publish it.

I'll buy one for sure. A signed one please?

It moves. They go after it. That's what cats do. :) Great shot. I've really enjoyed the cats this month.

Nice capture...I love these kinds of angles. Great colors almost muted enough to b/w but enough for the eyes and nose to stand out.

The first thing I wondered about is your lens! I never thought about trying something like this - I never use a UV filter but I have one that I may have to try out. I wonder what would happen if I get out the old lens, the UV filter, some catnip from the garden...

That's it! YOU are going in my favs, Coleen. I just can't stand these fantastic photos day after day! You are incredibly talented, and your models are all exceptional. The titles are always smart and funny. And I think I have about a gazillion of your photos faved already. So there you go.

This is too cute! I love that hint of color you leave in your processing. I'm sure all your cats have egos the size of Cincinnati from being photographed all the time. hahaha!

your cats are so photogenic .. of course it helps to have someone behind the camera who has a real talent and fantastic eye .. love your processing as usual ..
sometimes during the day, especially when i'm with katee, i'll remember the incredible photographs you take of your cats and wish i could get katee looking so amazingly interesting and full of personality .. it seems that cats are more expressive than dogs .. especially in their movements .. :)
