You got a 9 from me, Julianne. I love the frozen water and her expression. Her being naked also adds to the sense of innocent love of life. The green didn't bother me - just seems like one monotone choice out of many. In fact, I'm adding this to my faves.

Well, I was one of the dummies who voted this a 4. Just didn't spend enough time with it, and for that, I apologize. What a contrast between nature's chaos and sometimes lack of obvious beauty vs. the sterile artificiality of our constructions like golf courses. There's no question I'd prefer to spend time turning over rocks and walking in the woods than playing golf.

Robert, you got a similar score to a free study entry I had last fall, and I think for similar reasons: it seems to be tilted to the right (might be an optical illusion), the blue sky is pretty noisy, and it just didn't hold my interest that much. I also agree with L2 about not getting a story from it (not that my entry has any story). So between my earlier entry of a tower against a sky and your glass shots, we switched places this time.

As for your work life, I'm glad you got out of a bad situation and I wish you luck. Come down to DC during your hiatus and we'll go shooting together. :)
