Yellow Flowerby cogeroxComment: Lovely image and you did a good job cleaning it up.
After I read where the spots came from I almost wish they were still there. Obviously in a challenge you'd need to clone them out, but with the story behind the bits of dirt they give the photo a bit more meaning. |

Bull's-eyeby drydocComment: For some reason when I look at this photo the flower looks like it's 5 feet tall. The folds in the petals look like crisp white sheets.
Your whites are understandably blown in some areas. Since there's really no rules for side challenges, you might want to underexpose the image as a whole and then play with the Dodge tool to brighten select areas back up. |

August Chickoryby FrostyPawsComment: Ooo! I love the colors and lighting!
I think you're losing some punch, because your composition is a little off to me. This is an image that would definitely benefit from the "rule of thirds." Also as a personal preference, I would flip it Horizontally so the flower is on the left side. |

Coriander flower and seedsby carofoComment: I think you're a bit overexposed, but you know what? I don't think I care, heh. The image invokes a feeling of freshness. Actually now that I think about it, I'm thinking fabric softener.
The ant is out of focus, but again, don't care! I think this is a beautiful spring fresh image that was well executed. |

Good Morning, Skipper!by MaryOComment: Oh, so pretty. Great exposure, focus, and composition.
There was a bunch of these guys playing in the flower garden I was shooting today, but none would show me their face. I have a bunch of butt shots! |

Sunflowerby cogeroxComment: Love the colors and you nailed your focus. My only complaint would be that the right side is cramped. Your border runs into the stamen of the flower. |

IMG_5447.jpgby drydocComment: Definitely Celosia. The flower tags I have say "Castle Celosia."
Anywho... I have some in my flowerbed right now, but I have no idea how to take a good shot of them. I sit there with my camera, and just stare at them... then turn to the easy targets, heh. Maybe by Day 31 I'll brave the Celosia. |

lilyby pamelasueComment: Ooo! So much potential with this shot. The composition is very flattering. It's so soft, to me it begs to be almost overexposed.
I played with it if you don't mind...
- Bumped Brightness +50
- Selective Color on the Black layer +100
- Selective Color on the White layer -50
- Bumped Contrast +10
- ...then I still wanted it brighter and Selective Color on the White layer -50...again
- White border
