 I believe I shot these last month during the fires. They were covered with ash and had to be cleaned up quite a bit with the clone tool and the spot heal tool.

This just blows me away with its beauty. What a wonderful bright and colorful flower you have captured here Roger. The center is so in focus, and I think this is definitely one of my favorite flower of the day.

Lovely image and you did a good job cleaning it up.

After I read where the spots came from I almost wish they were still there. Obviously in a challenge you'd need to clone them out, but with the story behind the bits of dirt they give the photo a bit more meaning.
