Nice macro. The lighting is good and you have done well with the sharpening. What would really make this shot jump is some center of focus. Something in the bb's to contrast them.

I must say, this is the first dog shot I've seen on DPC that I've given more than a 5. This is an excellent shot. Only thing missing is a red color and a Santa hat. Well done.

Great clarity in this shot. The composition is good as well as your white balance. Nice abstract.

Morning Shadow

I'm not able to really understand this shot. The subject matter out the window is kind of uninteresting and the dark object in the foreground is distracting to the shadow. Perhaps moving the chair and moving the camera so as to no see out the window, or dropping the blinds so the light shines through them, but obstructs the view may make for a more interesting shot.

Relooking at this photo, it's more interesting than my first vote, so you'll need a bump. The colors are very vivid, and the lack of tree branches gives a magical look to the surroundings. You have great sharpness on the trees in the back. Nice photo.

Interesting. I think that you may have too much light on the eyeball. The reflection might need to be softer. The position of the eye on the page works, as well as the ripple around it. Sharpness is good.

This could be a more interesting photo if you had leveled the camera and removed the item in the corner. Your lighting and contrast are good, but the cropping needs to have a little more wall on the right and a level camera. I like the idea though.

Turkey Feather Still Life

You know, other than some noise, there isn't much needing work on this shot. Your lighting is beautiful. I like the texture of the cloth behind the vase. To bad the bottle is a screw top. No points off for that though. Nice photo.

Stairway to Heaven

Other than changing the crop just a bit to have the ladder off the bottom of the frame, I wouldn't change anything. You have good color and composition. Good shot Richard.

Classic shot. May need just a tad bid of contrast between the 'KISSES' tag and background. Not easy to accomplish. Good job.
