HEY!
Please include iso, shutter, and aperture in your photo info. I think it can help everyone learn.
You have a lot of comments already, but I'll throw in my two cents.
First, I too am wondering a little about the combination. This isn't actually a wild turkey bottle is it? That's really the only connection I could guess.
Usually it's a good idea to use odd numbers in still lifes. The reflection of the bottle almost creates a third subject or else this would really seem a bit weird. For that reason, I really like the inclusion of the mirror.
I do like the draping of the background material, but there does seem to be quite a bit of noise in the darker areas of the shot. Some cameras can't handle low light well, but it would help to know the iso and shutter speed.
I like the angle of the feather and don't even mind the position of the bottle, but the composition is a little off.
I hate to jump on the "rule of thirds" bandwagon, but I think that it might help here. The primary focal point seems to be where the bottle and feather meet which is very centered. I also think that a different perspective and crop could help. The upper empty area isn't really adding a lot to the shot. Maybe poining the camera down more so that there is less space above the bottle and even more reflection showing would help.
I took this into photoshop and ran auto levels. It moved the black point (darkening the shadows) some which added more drama to the shot. I also like a little more saturation to bring out the nice color of the bottle.

Great composition and I love the reflections. Could be a little brighter in my opinion but none the less a great shot.

Interesting composition. I wouldn't have thought of putting a turkey feather with a glass bottle. I like the mirror effect. The image seems a little grainy to me.

The photo doesn't grab me, but I like your lighting. It brings out some nice, soft highlights on the bottle. I just think the still life is a bit bare, the elements don't connect or support each other particularly well, and the reflections just add to the feeling of disjointedness. The background is nice in an elegant way.

I think the background is a little bright, but that's just my taste. I've given you a 9, because this is a very high quality image with good composition and basically good color and lighting.

Well taken photo, but what's the connection between the feather and the bottle? 7 Swash

Honestly I don't like the mirror under it. Still a fine image though - Inspzil

I love the reflections and the backdrop. A tighter crop on the top might have been nice though.

I am having trouble understanding the dof here. Parts of the bottle look out of focus while things both in front of and behind look ok. I like the arangement but would like it better without the reflection I think. The colors go well together.

Odd, for some reason my comment for another photo was attached to this one, so my apologies if you were confused :o) This shot is well lit, but perhaps a bit too bright, maybe do to your monitor calibration (PM me if you want this explained more). The reflection off the surface helps add to this shot, but otherwise I cant find anything in this shot to interest me, sorry.

pretty idea, there is a lot of noise in the shot. Maybe if you tried a faster film setting.

Seems to be a bit over-sharpened. I think I would have liked to see more of the reflection and less of the background at the top as well. Nice still life though. DPz

A very nicely composed image, although a bit soft for my taste. Generally product images should be sharp with very saturated colours.

You know, other than some noise, there isn't much needing work on this shot. Your lighting is beautiful. I like the texture of the cloth behind the vase. To bad the bottle is a screw top. No points off for that though. Nice photo.

Great objects and I love the backdrop. The only think I would change is the angle of the bottle, only because it makes the photo look like it needs to be rotated when, in fact, it's perfectly straight. Is there a connection between the feather and the bottle? There doesn't have to be but I just want to know if I'm missing something.

Lovely, and very "old world" looking. Lighting and composition work for me. Moderate to high impact for me. 8. lhall

I am thinking that that's frosted glass, but it has a soft focus look to it. when I was photographing some frosted glass chess pieces, they turned out looking out of focus, and I wonder if that's what happened here. Not that is actually IS out of focus, but it only looks that way. Cause the feather looks just fine focus wise, and so does the mouth of the bottle. It's an interesting still life. I can never seen to get lighting right in still lifes. Your lighting is very nice. Background isn't distracting at all. nice color as well. Good luck in the challenge.

Great photo! The only thing that will make it better is if there is some Wild Turkey in that bottle!! Great display of reflection. Cub

Good focus, good lighting, very clear. Overall this is a nice shot - but it doesn't seem to have much inspiration, or rather it doesn't inspire me much. I can't think of anything to offer for improvement so eliminating my personal preference = 8
