New Years from the Needle by timj351Comment: Wow! This is amazing! Congratulations. Unfortunately, I started critiquing this competition yesterday and wasn't able to finish so I never saw this. I can't believe you took it all the way from West Seattle! |

New Years Eve Feastby DougPazComment: OMG! I haven't had lobster in 20 years and I love it! Good, clean shot. I wouldn't have cropped the lobster quite so tightly though. |

a resolution waiting to be brokenby shedonistComment: Here's my dilema. I really want to see the scale centered but to do that, you would have to crop your toes. Maybe not such close cropping would make the uncentered scale less noticable. Anyway, aside from my balance problem, and the slight out of focus right foot, I like it . |

Raquel and I had one too many :)by zadoreComment: You're terrible parent! This is funny, actually. Your child is going to love this when he/she gets older. But, it is really blurry. I think you had a camer shake problem. |

New Year's Eve Watch Night Serviceby karmatComment: Beautifully done. It's perfectly exposed. The composition is brilliant from the top of the steeple to the perfectly cropped roof with the wonderful window that you thankfully kept in the shot completely. Excellent. I gave you an 8 but after reading my own critique - how 'bout a 10! |

Quadrants and Buds by joannsComment: Thank you! I'm very pleased. This is a great way to end the year, I must say.
I have had a question about the background. It is a piece of yellow poster board that was cut and glued onto the white poster board. I used a rotary cutter to get the smooth curves.
Thanks again everybody! |
