Now that looks good! Even though I am a vegeatrian something about this makes me want to come to your house!
Composition is good and has all the key ingredients for a good feast. The food stands alone, but the extra festive decoration look cool and I love the way that it captures the light.
Technical
I like the selective DOF here, looks just right, detail is still shown in the background but the main point of interest, the foreground is emphasised. Lighting is absolutely perfect in this shot, a tiny bit of flare on the back plate but it doesn't effect the overall quality of the shot too much.
My opinion
Great shot! Hope that you had a great New Year! ( And more than just the one bottle of wine!)

OMG! I haven't had lobster in 20 years and I love it! Good, clean shot. I wouldn't have cropped the lobster quite so tightly though.

Very good food photography, although I can't quite figure out how you managed to make the letters on the bottle sharp, and the dish of food that is right next to it out of focus. Good work in any case!

Good shot. Great comp. Nice DOF. Really need to see the bottom of the lobster tail though. It is creating an un easy pressure point. My eye goes to it and not the center of the image...

Mmmm... This looks so good, and I just had to vote on an empty stomach. The DOF works great in this shot and the overhead lighting doesn't make this shot feel too lit, and otherwise looking staged or set-up.

Mmmmm... great, now I'm hungry! Looks delicious! The shot looks just slightly oversharpened, but I still think it's great.

You have a deep focal depth, but I would have set the sharpest point a little further back, letting the very front of the tail blur a but and making the nearest greens a little sharper.

Yummy, wish the salad was in focus, although still a very good shot.
