amazing work Christoph! Shame about DQ! Hard to tell without seeing the original of course, but I can't imagine you (with your imagination!) could not think of some way to provide light from the right from outside the frame. I usually try to stay far away from a potential DQ territory, even at the expense of the final result, but you seem to like the thrill :).

this was my highest score (9) along with the DQ-ed Dark Knight. Excellent, natural shot evoking the spirit of movies from the golden era of 50's and 60's. JJ is right, the only thing which I would change is to re-crop it. There are very few movies shot in portrait format :)

almost like this, Ben. Was not planning to enter this challenge, but on Monday went to a seminar at Salk, and there in the courtyard it struck me that this view would be perfect for Leading lines. So I came back on Tuesday evening (yes, on the way from work :)) to take this photo. Barely made it, because they close the institute for visitors at 6pm
