Aflameby n_ravikiranComment: Composition ~ I can't find a subject to this shot... Exposure ~ Lower right lost in underexposure, upper middle lost in overexposure... Focus ~ N/A... Challenge ~ I can't find any relevence... Opinion ~ I'd be interested in knowing what you were trying to shoot here... It just looks like out of focus glass rocks with a too bright light behind them. ~ Myqyl ~ |

mob boss and contractorby kendallComment: hehehe... Original idea :) The Don's arm was cropped off, but otherwise technically well done. I assume you tried this in BW and decided this was better? If not, maybe take a look at it without the colors... It looks classic for a BW shot... Good thing you didn't get the mobsters face or you'd be sleepin' wit da fishes :) ~ Myqyl ~ |

As the clouds of war gather once more: We WILL remember themby Delta_6Comment: Composition ~ It may be an illusion, but the horizon seems slanted to the right a bit. Also the railing is distracting (both the front rail blocking the words and the back rail cutting the people). I know this will sound off the wall, but if you could have raised your camera 1 meter (about 3 feet) higher in the air and aimed down, this would have gone from a very nice snapshot to a powerful image (in my opinion). Possibly as little as holding your camera an arms length above your head and shotting. It takes a bit of practice to frame the shot that way, but it can really be worth it. I love the school children 'touring' in the background... You caught them at a perfect moment... ~ Exposure ~ I like the light overcast days produce and this shot took full advantage of it. Well done... ~ Focus ~ Well done... ~ Challenge ~ I have no problem imagining this in a publication... Well done! ~ Myqyl ~ |

Mayan Mysteriesby lykofosComment: The light seems a bit harsh. Not sure if you could have controlled it, but it looks like you used flash... The rock and plants at the bottom are overexposed. Nice composition! My eye is drawn to the fog/mouth... ~ Myqyl ~ |

Big Dipper Attacked By Leonid Meteorby SSonnentagComment: Composition ~ Wonderful!!! Just enough ground to give perspective and wonderful ground at that! Exposure ~ Again, excellent!!! There is no rotation tails on the stars and you have beutiful detail in the ground!!! If I hadn't known you had a full moon working as your lighting crew, I'd have suspected something illegal :) Focus ~ Fantastic! I haven't seen all the shots this week, but if this doesn't place in the top 3, I'll be very surprised. ~ Myqyl ~ |

Technology Just Makes It Easierby SeekerComment: Interesting choice of background color. I'm not sure it adds anything for me. Personally, I would like to see this as a Black&White. Your message is well presented and that says a lot. Though I may not agree with your message 100%, I certainly admire your ability to express it... +points :) |

My buddy "BUDDY" (the beagleby rogerspaulComment: I've been trying to decide how this dog represents technology, but I'm at a complete lose. If you'd care to enlighten me, I'd gladly reconsider your score ~Myqyl ~ UPDATED COMMENT : After much consideration, I've decided this does meet the challenge... Beagles are, afterall, work dogs... Tacking on the points I initially took off... Shot would have worked batter for me without the right side... |
