Simplisticby digifotojoComment: Probably my favourite of this set. I just wish there was more depth of field. |

Glory to foodby mariucaComment: Such an imposing rooster. Kind of feel like he's telling people not to eat the meat there. |

To be honest I don't know what that tree is but I'm in Africa, so a South American tree seems unlikely.
Edit: I stand corrected. There is a silk floss tree in South Africa, but most of the photos I see have worse thorns than are visible in this photo. I'll have to have a better look at that tree next time I'm at the flea market and try to figure it out. Message edited by author 2019-03-04 13:00:59. |

Nojoqui Fallsby wbanningComment: I like both photos a lot but won't say which I prefer because viewing from my phone can give a very different impression to viewing on my computer. I guess I'll have to have a better look when my computer is switched on. |

Camera Hogby wbanningComment: Beautiful shot with good contrast.
Contrast is something I'm finding really difficult with b&w minimal. I'm hoping that I'll figure it out by the end of the month. |

I'd have mixed feelings too. I hate the thought that the art that went into creating those bonsai was ruined, but at least they were still alive. |

No, I don't know him, but I'll certainly have a look at his site. Thanks. |

Thanks. I'll bear that in mind, but I hope I don't have to. |
