Interesting array of lines and colors. The background reflection is a distraction for me; as is the text on the left side. Perhaps if this were advanced editing there would be ways to obscure some of the distractions and add emphasis to the abstract nature of the image.

Reminds me of my sons' rooms. I've seen this same thing before...deja vu all over again. ;)

Composition of the image is very cluttered (no pun intended); there is really nowhere for the eye to rest (a main focal point). Giving voters too much to look at in the few seconds voters give images is a sure way to get mediocre scores. I think that if this had been taken at an angle other than from standing position (eye level) it might have more of a dynamic appeal.

Image has some hotspots that distract the eyes. Concept is good, but I think execution could be a bit better. Composition seems disjointed and lighting is spotty; maybe a different angle of the board might help, or use more available light or a diffused flash. Chess boards and pieces are difficult to shoot and make them look dynamic. I appreciate the effort.
