No problem at all for me that the end thumb is horizontal and I love that you presented these together. But an idea. For me the two parts that really work together are the girl and the center (mannequins and hydrant) of the second image. What if you took a narrow slice out of each and put those together - maybe with no separator or maybe with - to make a square?

All that glitters is not gold, but this surely is. Love the lack of anything to give me a sense of scale - this could be a tree in a forest as well as a head of grass in a marsh.

Wonderful framing and perfect for square, as has been said. I would prefer a perspective that placed at least her head against either the water or the sky . . . but I don't know whether that is remotely possible. I'm just not crazy about the merger here.

I would print this and hang it on my wall in a heartbeat, Mariuca. I think it's gorgeous. Love the light, tones, composition, textures, and lyricism.
On a lighter note, I think I really relate to this. I have beautiful songs inside . . . fresh and tuneful. But somehow when I let them out, they fall flat . . .
