 "My Environment"

I always feel a little bit like Paddington Bear when I slip these on to go outside, but they absolutely never let me down. They keep my feet warm and dry and should I, God forbid, go face first into a snowbank, they would hopefully be the bright marker that would lead to my discovery...

Everyone should have a pair of sturdy yellow boots.

I might need those for this weekend. We might get 6 inches or more of snow. No fun!

that's a big splash of joyful hereabouts! everyone should indeed have such. we just had over 6" of rainfall, and now it is about 0 C.

Another clue to your environment. On it's own I find this image a little pedestrian but at the same time an important piece to the puzzle. I'm enjoying your deliberate rollout of clues. The sum of the parts is greater than the pieces. At some point I'd like to see the entire collection of photographs side by side. Maybe your last post? Thanks for creating and sharing a story.

I love the yellow boots. A good pair of snow/rain boots is a must (especially to take dogs out in the winter)!

No snow here but it still rains from time to time. My granddaughter has a pair of pink paisley rain boots that I covet.

A very fine pair of boots indeed, and for all the reasons you state. I also like the pairing of the bright yellow with the muted reddish brown. Very nice. I might look at a horizontal flip . . .

lol .. i LOVED your comment .. altho i have to say .. i dont need those bright yellow gumboots .. it never snows here .. i do have some very colourful ones tho that were my daughters .. gumboots are the best .. great to just slip on if its muddy and rainy outside .. so practical ..
anyway .. seeing these boots and remembering your last snowy cold and icy posts .. i'm being drawn into your world .. :)
